All the members of the faculty are competent enough to carry out the entire academic and co-curricular duties pertaining to the department. All the faculty members are duly qualified as per U.G.C. norms.

We have wise faculty members as well as rich educational aids viz. books, instruments, preserved specimens and histological slides. We also have good laboratory facility with wide variety of instrumental support and efficient laboratory staff. We always maintain a good understandings. Between student-teacher relationship to improve their academic progress.

Though we deserve according to UGC rule more permanent faculties that we lack as per recent student- teacher ratio, we try our best effort to compensate the disadvantages to complete the annual syllabus with the increment of periods of classes, special classes, tutorials and repeated internal assessments and self-discussion to find out our shortfalls and further approach.

Thus we think we are competent enough in spite of our inadequacy in number of teaching staff.

The department presently consists of three permanent teaching staff more or less competent. Among which one is Selection Grade Lecturer, one is Lecturer and another one Graduate Laboratory Instructor having teaching status.

The three part time teachers devote their time by taking 8 classes per week. One full time and one temporary laboratory staff struggle hard to run the practical classes throughout the session. The number of faculty is not at all adequate in comparison with no of students, vast syllabus, examination task and administrative jobs.
